The True Light
-John 8:12:Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
-John 1:4:In him was life; and the life was the light of men
John 1:9:That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
-John 12:46:I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
- John 9:5:As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
-1 John 1: 5:This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
-Psalm 119:130:The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
From the above verses we see that Jesus is the light of the world.
What does Jesus mean when he claims to be the "Light" of the world?
So many people are so familiar with the fact that Jesus claimed to be the light of the world and that his followers bear his light .However, very few understand the exact message Jesus is trying to pass across when he calls himself the light.For us to have a better understanding of what he means lets study what light means.
What is light?
Light is something that makes things visible or affords illumination.Without light nothing would be visible.So if light is something that makes things visible it means Jesus is trying to say that he makes something(s) visible.
Jesus makes God visible:
When man partook of the fruit of disobedience,He was blinded from seeing his creator(seeing things on a God dimension)Satan "opened "his eyes to himself(his carnal terrestrial existence Gen 3:6)and blinded him from seeing the God who covered his nakedness(2 cor 4:4).He made him to be ignorant of his maker Eph 4:18 says:"Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart".We see here that humanity has their understanding darkened. What understanding is The bible talking about ?their divine understanding of course.Satan gives You a terrestrial mind to "darken"(make You ignorant)of Your divine nature(2 pet 1:4).
- 2 cor 11:14:"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light".
Age of enlightenment?
The age we live in is called the age of enlightenment.It is so called because of the vast reliance on reason and scientific achievements in solving problems.(Before the age of enlightenment there was the "dark ages" a period when science and reason where suppressed.)Why do You feel the world refers to reason science and technology as light and the suppression of these three as darkness?
Also, in the world we live today people educated in the secular way are called enlightened individuals occultists and Luciferans are also called enlightened beings(Illuminati).Why are people who are neither taught about God and his son Jesus but about the principles of the world called enlightened?Why are devil worshipers and new agers called enlightened individuals?The answer to the 2 questions above isnt far fetched, It is satans trick to deceive mankind to seek him as being light instead of seeking the true Light:Jesus.The so called light that the educational systems of the world claim to give us do not show us God.They teach us to seek self and a better life for ourselves.While they claim to illuminate us and enlighten us on world facts they reveal little or nothing about God.Also,The so called light that occultists seek teaches them nothing about God but about self and the so called powers and powers of of Lucifer.That is exactly the same way the light of lucifer revealed adam and eves nakedness to them but blinded them to the God that covered them.
Heres a statement by Bruce Willis in the july1998 edition of George magazine:"Organized religions in general, in my opinion, are dying forms," he says. "They were all very important when we didn't know why the sun moved, why weather changed, why hurricanes occurred, or volcanoes happened," he continues. "Modern religion is the end trail of modern mythology. But there are people who interpret the Bible literally. Literally!" he says incredulously. "I choose not to believe that's the way. And that's what makes America cool, you know?" What he is saying here is that religion is not relevant because man has all the answers to lifes problems.Man has been deceived by satan to trust reason above godly counsel in solving problems and in directing our affairs and Bruce Willis is one of the many people satan has deluded

God,Jesus and his body the church are the only personalities that can make You see God,understand his truth,Realize that You are supposed to bear his image and realize Your need to be saved.Majority of humanity are complacent and proud to live in sin because they are ignorant of God and the wages of sin(Roman 6:23)If You genuinely want to know the truth seek Jesus ,the only true light.Pay the price deny Yourself to know him, seek his knowledge above reason , worldly wisdom and philosophy (col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.)desire him cleave to him.prov 8:10 says:Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. Prefer his instruction to riches and vanity seek godly counsel and godly guidance.Proverbs 3:5 says"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding".
Trust God with all Your heart stop leaning on Your understanding reason and secularism.Wake up!!!!!
