Gen 2:16-17 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

From the above verses we see how satan presents us with a simulated worldview and blinds us from seeing reality.Lets study the above verses more carefully to have a better understanding of how he accomplishes this.
In the creation story God specifically commanded the man not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil or else he would surely die(in other words the tree was not good for eating it was evil).However Satan the master of deception convinced eve that what God called evil was actually good for her.Foolishly,she believed satan and chose to eat the forbidden fruit.As soon as she did that she "changed".The Bible says:Gen 3:7:"And the eyes of them both were opened, and they "knew" that they were naked........."
This means that they became conscious of the fact that they were naked when they ate the fruit.When God questioned Adam about what happened Adam told God that he was scared because he was naked and hid himself from God?God asked him: ...."Who told thee that thou wast naked?"in other words You're not supposed to be conscious of that. (Gen 3:11)
The word "naked" as used in the creation story refers to mans natural state without God.Prior to the fall of man Gods spirit "covered" his eyes from seeing Himself and focused his mind on God glory.That's why he wasn't conscious of the fact that he was naked.To further explain this lets look at Isaiah 30:1"Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that "cover" with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin."
The spirit of God covers the eyes(mind)of man from focusing on self and instead focuses mans attention on seeing God as he really is and living for him.(1 john 3:2)
Result of mans disobedience:
Satan succeeded in" blinding" man from seeing God and opening his eyes to seeing and serving a false reality,:"Mans beastly and selfish self."
Many occultists and mystics often emphasize that gen 3:7("And the eyes of them both were opened,......")means that Satan opened the eyes(mind,understanding) of man to see and that prior to when their eyes were "opened" by the forbidden tree, they were actually blinded by God. What they fail to realize is that the serpent actually blinded them.He "opened"their eyes to see a false worldview without God and blinded them to the fact that they were supposed to be seeking God not self,supposed to be bearing Gods image and name not making an image and a name for themselves, 2 cor 4:4 says: "In whom the god of this world hath "blinded" the minds of them which believe not lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."Notice it didn't say whom the god of this world hath opened the mind of.... but blinded the minds of.....
Satan blinds You from seeing the truth and opens Your eyes(mind) to see a false reality so You would be fooled to feel the false reality he shows You is ideal and eventually spend eternity without God.Please take note of the fact that 2 cor 4:4 says "blinded the minds of" and not the eyes of.Our minds are our spiritual organs of sight they direct all our activities and any decision we make.In fact the ancestor of every action we take comes from the mind.The word "eye"as used in the creation story refers to the mind.
The two minds:
Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
From the above verse we see that there are two mind views presented in the bible one leads to death and one leads to life.These two minds are symbolic of the two trees in the garden of Eden the tree of knowledge of good and evil(carnal mind)which gives a false worldview based on self leads to death (death means an eternity without God who is our life)while the tree of life(spiritual mind) as the name indicates leads to life.

So many Christians feel that since Satan deceived eve,He doesn't have much to do with humanity.Thats a great lie, the same way satan deceived eve in the garden of eden is the same way he deceives humanity today.He makes Us set our mind on the temporal and forsake the eternal.He makes us seek our will(self) instead of Gods will.(Read rev 12:9 to see that Satan indeed deceives the whole world).We often blame Eve's choice for all the evils that are in the world today but What we fail to realize is that we are so much like Eve.Everyday We make so many destructive and selfish choices like Eve did.We choose death over life when we refuse to submit to the Lords Authority.Its so sad to say it but many of us prefer death to life (Prov 8:36)

That is why Jesus rebuked peter in matt 16:21-23:"From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men."
Notice Jesus called Peter satan.Satan is only mindful of the things of men(carnal things)instead of accomplishing Gods purpose(dying on to self So our souls can be saved)
Little wonder people of our day hate Christians,They hate them because they view them as people who are against them indulging themselves.Little wonder money and not God is respected in the society we live in today.Little wonder society rewards the sexy and not the godly,The perverts and not the Holy,Those who engage in all sort of abominations and not those who fear God.And that is why there is an explosion of all sort of abominations in the world today: Because people have been molded by satan and his agents to respect the people who seek something for themselves and not God and because of the reward attached to living in rebellion, People are Hell bent on commiting any type of abomination in order to be famous and rich.

Yes, it would appear that this one many refer to as "Satan or Devil," whom I view to be a negatively polarized, therefore, service-to-self social memory complex, indeed did tempt the feminam Eves, who then deceived the masculine Adams into knowing themselves, thus cutting themselves off from the true source of their beingness, whom I choose to call "God or Abba Father."
The Christ, whom I refer to as "Yahshua ha' Meshiach," my dear friend and mentor, then volunteered His services, becoming manifest within this time and space continuum in order to redeem through His subsequent martyrdom, the service-to-other negatively positively oriented in order help them return to the service-to-others orientations path.
It appears to have gone well, as this maybe the richest harvest on record in the last 75,000 years.
I know, my views are most difficult for those who have not read past the distorted form of The Law of One, that is found in what I now term "The Roman Bible" or the other holy books such as The Koran.
You see, some time back I began asking questions most do not wish or know to ask. Within weeks info came pouring at me like a river, within a year of this event I began transcending what most refer to as "Christianity" becoming, what I have begun to refer to as "New Age Christianity," am now one who seeks The Christ within, rather than those who seek The Christ without.
In other words, I await The Christ-self to manifest within, rather than looking up as the angels had instructed man not to do, for there He can not be found, for it is now an inside manifestation;
as we are all one, and one is love.

Well Travis Christ didn't come to save us to serve others but rather he saved us to serve God.If while we are serving God,God in his wisdom directs us to serve others then we willingly obey him and serve others.Serving others without Gods direction is still rebellion against him.Gods wants people who are ready to serve him in any capacity he wishes.Thats why Romans 4:4 says " Now to him that works is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt." Any effort of us to serve God by our own works is still submitting to the serpent mentality of seeking self.(Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:Not of works, lest any man should boast. )
Also,Christ cannot be found within an individual we are separated from Christ and his righteousness (Eph 4:18).We need to seek him without and invite him to live within us.The spirit that works within us in our sinful state is the serpent spirit:(1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.)He that is in You(the devil)has to die for he that You need (Jesus Christ )to be revealed in Your heart if You invite him.
Do not be deceived by new agers and occultists who tell You to seek Christ within(who is in fact the devil)die to the devil within and accept Jesus(rev 3:20)Jesus is at the door of Your heart knocking.Let him in

What is the meaning of the term; occult?
That which is unknown. Therefore, if I do not understand, nor know the religion of Islam, is it then an Occult?
The Christ instructed us to seek Him. Therefore, I seek to know Him.
I will not be fooled by Church Inc. nor by Yahwah's Bible any longer.
If you understood why Yahweh portrays "The Devil" as he does, you would then see a very different picture.
However, if your belief system allows you to love "ALL" people as does The Christ, without prejudice or bias, then please, stay on tract.
I will respect your views dear brother, as I have come from where you are, having spent thousands of hours studying Yahweh's Bible. However, I needed a more detailed study, a clear understanding of my friend and mentor "The Christ."

Well Travis If You want to seek Christ You must seek Christ as actually he is(1 John 3:2,) and on His own terms.(John 14:6)
Christianity is not just a "belief system" but the truth and the truth should never be compromised at the expense of "loving all people"who enjoy living in lies(living for self).Infact it is because God,Jesus and his followers love the world that they tell Them the truth(John 3:16)Because if the world doesn't accept Jesus it would be damned and we do not want to see them destroyed.
When You reject the counsel of the church(the body of Christ)and the Bible (Gods word),You show that You have no regards for him and his commandments(1 John 5:2-3) and You do not love Him.Those that love God keep his commandments(John 14:15,24)
Jesus told the Jews to search the scriptures for it was the scriptures that testified of him.(John 5:39)Any teaching,doctrine or lifestyle that cannot be justified by the scriptures is never and can never be of God.
Finally I am not expressing My views but Christs views it is not about me but about Christ and his truth

Also,It was the desire to know the "hidden knowledge" that God forbade man to partake of that led to mans downfall.(Genesis 3)So accepting the forbidden occult knowledge which teaches about self realization and rejects Jesus leads to doom and separation from God.If You claim to be Christs follower You wont seek teachings(knowledge)He has forbidden You to partake of(tree of knowledge of good and evil).You will seek Him and his knowledge alone(The tree of life)

I know Author, this is what is so irritating for me and others. Yahweh has so many fooled into believing if we don't hold our hand up just right, we are off to hell fire and damnation. Is this what a loving creator is about for you?
What happened to the zillions of earth-suits that passed before The Christ's incarnation, did all of their souls end up in hell?
What about the children who past just days after their birth, hell for them too?
If your son went to one of them strip clubs and on the way back his earth-suit expired in a car wreak, would you send his soul to hell?
If so, this is not the work, the desire of a loving Creator who we are created "In the image of"
We are here to learn, to work on ourselves. This is a classroom, a classroom we are confined to until we get it. Until we realize the importance of loving "ALL" people regardless of our perception of them. This is the containment center Enoch saw. A place with walls so tall we can not get out until we are so free of our bias and judgements that we can just flout out of like our Christ did.
Therefore, He is the way, His perfected love is the truth and in that perfected love is the life for me.
This is a production, a perfect plan that Yahweh, was not happy about, but realized he needed Lucifer to help us grow, to learn, to graduate helping us make The Choice to serve others, rather than staying stuck in the mud knowing only our self. Job was thankful for Lucifers' help, and I forgive Yahweh for trying to hold me back, I love him. In his heart he was just doing what he thought was best for us.

A loving creator is one who seeks to protect his creation from destruction.Every parent wants the best for their children and because of this they protect them from every evil path.If the rebellious child in his self will refuses his parents admonition he will bear the consequences of his actions.
In the same way our loving father wants us to Live in peace and harmony with Him in his paradise and not be destroyed eternally in hell ( 1st Timothy 2:4).God is the creator and we have to model our lives after the purpose he created us for.
We are the ones who choose hell(the knowledge that separates us from God).Gods desire is that we remain in his presence but our desire to know sin and self(as symbolized by the tree of knowledge of good and evil)This cuts us off from him and keeps us in hell.
"Hell" is a state of separation from God(Jude 6) all the seed of the fallen Adam are in this state not because God put them there but because of the choice of their progenitors to choose separation from God rather than fellowship with Him.They are doomed to remain in this state of eternal separation unless they accept Gods invitation of love and return to him and live on his terms.(Psa 90:3)and the only time they have to make the decision to return to God is during the time they are alive here on earth.
So the choice lies with You, Do You want to accept Gods love and knowledge or do You want to discover the self(proverbs 18:2)and perish.Dont blame God,If you choose self over God, it was Your choice and You will bear the consequence of Your actions(Deut 30:19)

They also ate the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge. This means they became intimately acquainted with evil and good. Previously they only knew good, now they imbibed evil into themselves and became evil doers! So now we see that though there is good in man, there is also evil present! Thus man can never be good enough for God, and whatever good men do the evil in man will always corrupt and destroy!
There will always be evil inclination in man--hence man is deceived because he likes to focus on what he sees is the good in man and overlook the evil.
The believer also can forget that in his own flesh evil is present (Rom 7:21). As Christ pointed out to one individual "Only God is Good!" (thus implying His own deity) (Mat 19:17; Mar 10:18; Lk 18:19).
However Adam was not decieved, it was the woman who was deceived (Gen 3; 1 Ti 2:14). Adam blatantly disobeyed the Lord and ate thus condemning himself and all his descendents to death! We have a choice we cannot blame the devil for our sinful choices!

Nice Post John.However man did not acquire any good from the forbidden tree only evil.The good and evil in the forbidden tree are the ability of man to choose what is good and evil for himself(being like God)Instead of what God feels is good and evil for man(submitting to Gods standards)That is what led eve to choose what God forbade as being evil as being good for herself and her future seed.So even her sense of good was evil.Good can only be found in Jesus.That is why st Paul said in Romans 7: 18:For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.Only God knows what is good and evil for us.

I also believe that the scriptures reveal to us that there are people whom God hates.
(Psalm 5:5 being just one). God will judge sinners, not just sin. We must not hate others because our hatred is impure "For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. " (Jas 1:20)
Jesus stated, "He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. " (1 Jo 2:9-11)
"Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. " (1 Jo 3:15)
The carnal mind cannot comprehend that God, who is love, can ever hate anyone. Proof texts are often thrown up which appear to say that God loves everyone, yet the scriptures do not actually state that God loves everyone. What we do read is that the love of God is not measured by His feelings towards others but by His actions.
We are to love our enemies--how? By doing good to them, not by feeling emotionally! God is pure and Holy in every way we, on the other hand, are not, which is why we await the coming redemption of our bodies so that we will be transformed, the corrupt nature will be gone finally, and we will be free from this body of death!

Heb 10:29:Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
-Heb 6:4-6: "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame".
Well In our natural state we are all sinners and the Bible is clear that God loved us so much that he sent his sinless and beloved son into this fallen world in order to save us(John 3:16).God hates sin.But he loves the sinner.If God hated sinners nobody would be saved we would be all doomed Because by nature we are sinners.However when we willingly continue in sin after we have received the knowledge of the truth,When we take His love for granted and choose to live for now.That is when he becomes our enemies and that is the hatred that Psalm 5:5 and other similar verses talk about.Rebellion is impermissible to God when the truth has been shown forth.That was why he rejected Saul for David.Saul knew Gods standards but chose to rebel.Also Jesus is clear he didn't come to condemn the world but to save it:John 3: 17:"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved". Condemnation only comes to all those who despite the fact that the truth of God that brings salvation has been shown forth ,they choose to reject it and instead choose darkness(John 3:1,Acts 13:46)
