The New Age Movement

The New Age Movement:
Many of us must have heard about the "New age Movement".However very few of us understand what it symbolizes.Because of this, I felt it would be necessary to give a detailed description of what the New age movement represents.

New Age Movement:
1st of all lets look at the meaning of the three words new,age and movement
New:
The English word New means something or someone that comes or occurs afresh.It could also mean something other than the former or the old:e.g: a new era.
From the definitions above we can conclude that New means a change from the old(existing state of things)

Age:
Age could be defined as the length of time during which a being or thing has existed or would exist.Since we are dealing with a change of age ,It means that an age is a particular period of Time, as distinguished from others(Synonyms of age are epoch or era)

Movement:
The word movement (as used in the context of the new age)Refers to a group of people or organizations tending toward or favoring a generalized common goal.

From these 3 definitions we can conclude that:
New=Change
Age=An epoch(Period of time)
Movement=A conspiracy of people with a common objective.

Therefore, the new age movement is a conspiracy of people who are united by their objective to usher in an era of change.Put in simple English it is a group of people dedicated to introducing change.Which takes us to our next question what is the change that these people want to usher in?

To understand the change these people represent I would want us to refer to the Bible:
Gen 2:25:"And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed".
Gen 3:7:"And the "eyes" of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons".

From the above verses,We can see that Prior to eating from the forbidden fruit, Adam and Eve were not conscious of the fact that they were naked.This was so because Their "eyes" were covered by Gods glory.All they could see was their loving maker.They were only concerned about living for him.They strove to be more like him not seeking anything for themselves.

The crafty serpent deceived Eve and made her to want to seek something for herself.He filled her heart with pride.He showed her all the things she could do without Bearing the true Gods image and fooled her into thinking that those were the things that made her god.Believing the serpent, she decided to partake of the fruit forbidden tree and also gave some of it to her husband to eat of.As soon as they ate of it,They became conscious of their nakedness(their focus shifted from God to the self)

As a consequence of this,their mindset "changed"from wanting to be submissive to the true God and be more and more like him,to one that didn't want to submit to God.They "became" beings who were fooled to think that they could be "gods" without submitting to the true God(Rebellion) this was the view that the serpent wanted them to see.
When they became conscious of their nakedness(their lack of glory without God who previously covered them)They sought to make "coverings"for themselves(Gen 3;7).These coverings represent the fact that they sought to cover their "bare" selves with glory manufactured by themselves(making a name for themselves:pride)

Just as there were two trees in the garden there are also two mindsets today.That of the world and that of God.The mindset of God is centered on God just like Adam and Eve were prior to the fall.The mindset of the world is centered on the self just like Adam and eve were after the fall.That's why the Bible says in 1 john 4:4:Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. "He that is in You" represents the breathe of Life(Gods spirit)that dwelt in man prior to the fall.He that is the the world represents the forbidden fruit(satanic spirit)that lives and animates humanity.

Romans 8:21:"Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God"

From the above verse we can see that the whole of creation is in bondage to corruption(fruit of disobedience)This is because the whole world as it is today "defragmented" from the "tree of sin"that Adam and eve partook of.That's why all the seed of Adam and eve bear their sinful and rebellious image (Gen 5:3,Romans 3:23).That's also why the creation have "beastly" and not Divine tendencies.(Gen 3:1 psalm 49:20)They all look like their "beastly" father the devil(John 8:44)

Gen 10:32: "These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations "divided" in the earth after the flood".
Gen 11:1:"And the whole earth was of "one" language, and of "one" speech.
Gen 11:6:"And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do".
Gen 11:7"Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech".
The plan of these new agers is to remind humanity of its common origin.(the satanic mindset of seeking self):

Like their father the serpent they want to "change"humanity to focus on the self rather than the creator.This is best illustrated in the verses above.
In the 1st verse we see that the whole earth was divided (not conscious of their common origins).Then in the next verse they finally realize their oneness.One language means one doctrine.In other words even though we have different creeds(division)they all teach the same"self centered"doctrine that lucifer taught eve.In the last two verses we see that God was not pleased with their plan because He was very much aware of the fact that nothing would be "restrained"from them.(i.e:they would be free from the influence of the spirit of God and would be able to do whatever the self wanted)As a result of this He "confused"(made them forget)their common origin and divided them across the earth(into different sects,religions and tribes).i.e They became "individualized"

As a result of this,These different sects and cultures became ignorant of the fact that they all had a common origin.Each one claimed to be the only ideal way to live.That is the mindset the New age Movement seeks to "change".They want to "remind"humanity of their origins.They want to show humanity that all paths that emanated from the forbidden tree are the same in principle:They are paths that seek to deify the self and ignore the need for a maker.They all emphasize that humanity can attain salvation by itself(the work of its hands).An essential teaching of new agers is that religious truth is not absolute but relative.They teach that Your path doesn't matter hindu,muslim,buddhist or sikh,The path might be different but the teaching is essentially the same and that is self realization.That is why an essential practice of the new agers is the unification of all spiritual truths.Today its not uncommon to see so called "Christians",muslims,judaists,kabbalists,zoroastrians, performing Yoga,It is not uncommon to see Muslims attending church,It is a common sight to see People advocating oneness,Also,People of different faiths hold meetings and dialogues based on their "common values".Thats the society the new agers want to build.One that is united under the luciferan doctrine of divine selfhood.When this plan is realized A "New World order"with the luciferan mindset would be formed

As in the days of Babel,The only hindrances to their plan are God and his saints.They fear the church because they know that they are the only ones that preach self denial.They (and their father the devil)fear Gods chosen ones because they know that they are the only ones who can destroy the plan(Gen 3:15,11:8-9)and expose them.That's why they do everything in their power to infiltrate the church with false prophets and false teachers who teach that the self is the ultimate and that We all worship the same god irrespective of our creeds.
They fool Christians to believe that Christianity has the same origins and hence worships the same god with other faiths in order to make them submit to the new age plan and provide little or no resitance to them.

These false prophets teach that instead of submitting to God ,Christians should seek something for the self.They tell people to tell God what they want and that they would get it.
The tell God what You want doctrine is from the pit of hell.Jesus prayed in the Bible not my will but Yours(Gods) be done.We need to be submissive to our maker and seek his will everyday in our lives.Submitting to God is the only way to destroy the serpent self seeking image that dwells in our hearts.

They also teach the "universal love doctrine". tolerance, fellowship and oneness with unbelievers.These doctrines are also from the pit of hell.We are never to tolerate evildoers but resist them(Eph 5:11,Prov 28:4,1 John 4:4-6,Jude 3).We are not to have "fellowship"with people who reject and hate God but rather tell them the uncompromising truth of the gospel that without Christ they are hopeless.(2 cor 6:14)

The moment Christians start to realize the devilish objectives of these people and submit to God,The more God will be able to work through them to expose these liars and establish his kingdom.The reason why these people have so much influence today is because the church has refused to wake up from her slumber.We seem to be enjoying their lies.

2 hours of church a week is not enough.God wants Your whole life.Christianity isn't an aspect of Your life.Its supposed to be Your whole life.Submit to Your maker.Now is the time to wake up.
